Registration support
The new Procurement Act 2023 come into force on 24th February 2025 and presents the most significant change to the rules of public procurement in decades.
All companies need to register on the UK Government’s Central Digital Platform to continue selling goods or services to the public sector (Councils, central government, NHS, MoD, police forces, fire services etc.).
If you do not register, you will not be able to search or bid for public sector contracts. With public spending expected to amount to £1,200 billion in 2024-25, this is a substantial market to be missing out on. Companies will also be unable to tender for existing public sector contracts when they come up for renewal, meaning they could be lost!
TenderHelp can oversee this registration process for you, ensuring you correctly sign up and continue to have access to this market.
Contact us before 1st May 2025 for our temporary offer of completing your registration for half price - £200(+VAT).
Not only is this offer half price but all companies that make use of this offer will have the £200 fee deducted from their next order with us – effectively making it free!
What the changes mean for you
Public procurement law is changing following the introduction of the new Procurement Act 2023 and associated Regulations. If you are a business that works with the public sector, you need to know about these changes.
The Central Digital Platform (CDP) will be where all UK contracting authorities publish information relating to procurement. It is also the place where identifiers are recorded and/or issued and for suppliers to input their commonly used information. It will be a fully integrated digital platform where noticing, sign-in and registration, supplier information all work together to support public sector procurement.
The current Find a Tender digital platform ( www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/search ) will become The Central Digital Platform (CDP), for suppliers to:
- Find tender opportunities.
- Registering and complete basic supplier information, previously completed as part of individual bid Selection Questionnaires (SQs).
- Once complete, you must declare it is correct, and it will generate a share code or supply a file you can download containing your information.
- From 24th February 2025, bidders will need to submit this share code / file for all public procurements. The idea is that once registered and completed, your information will automatically transpose onto all future tender applications – saving work and time in the long run.
- If you are already registered on Find a Tender, you will need to re-register.
